Drennan Wire Avons have a hard grade balsa tip built into a light grade balsa body.
The Wire Avon provides the right mix of strength and buoyancy which, in combination with a stable wire stem, makes a great trotting float for running water.
This design is always attached top and bottom with silicone float rubbers
